Subject: Recruitment for the post of Aircraft Technician on FTE Basis.
AIESL is a fully owned subsidiary of AI Asset Holding Company limited and is a Public Sector Undertaking of Government of India. AIESL is the largest MRO in the aviation industry of India. AIESL manages and maintains Airbus, Boeing & ATR’s fleet with highest degree of the Technical Dispatch Reliability, with its major maintenance hangars and bases located at all the major metros. The company has state of the art capabilities for Overhaul and Maintenance of Aircraft and its components. AIESL being the subsidiary of erstwhile Air India Limited continues to provide its maintenance services to the prime customer Air India (now a private business entity). However as an independent MRO AIESL has embarked on business growth strategy through extensive marketing and brand building for capturing MRO service requirements of other aviation operators. AIESL employs around 5000 skilled workers including Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Aircraft Technicians.
AIESL invites applications from Indian Nationals fulfilling the requirements as on 1st Feb 2023 for the posts of Aircraft Technicians (A&C and Avionics) from the open market on Fixed Term Employment basis.
1. Number of Vacancies:
Total estimated present and future Vacancies are as follows, which may, however, vary depending upon change of situation/ workload and actual requirement of AIESL.
Distribution of vacancies:
Aircraft Technician (Total) = 90
B1 = 70
B2 = 20
Reservation and concessions/relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be as per Government Directives in this regard.
2. Eligibility Criteria as on 1st Feb 2023:
Diploma in Engineering (3Years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent grade(55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). (Engineering Degree holders in the above mentioned streams or Aeronautical Engineering may also be considered)

AME Diploma/Certificates in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B with 60%” marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).Candidates from DGCA Approved AME Training Institute as per current list who are eligible.

For Ex-servicemen
Successful completion of Group I related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/Engine/Electrical/Instrument/Radio trades conducted by the Indian Air force, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.

Successful Completion of 4 years course/ Diploma in Aircraft/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio Artificer training, conducted by Indian Navy, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
